Utah Homes and Real Estate
An Introduction...

Believe it or not, there is good news for buyers and sellers of real estate in Utah! While real estate markets nationwide continue to take a pounding, Utah's strong job growth and sharp reduction in new construction has resulted in Salt Lake City being ranked by Forbes as the 3rd best city in the nation for home sellers (Forbes, April 7, 2008). That's not to say that there aren't bargains to be had (in fact, depending on the area, there are plenty), but it allows for some conservative optimism in an uncertain real estate climate.
With that being said, anyone with an objective outlook on the Utah real estate market knows that it has transitioned out of the selling frenzy and into a plodding Buyer's Market. Our only goal as premier real estate consultants is to advise sellers openly and directly about the value and saleability of their homes, and help buyers to negotiate the best possible deal on their dream home. We know Utah real estate, and we have the experience to prove it.
Please feel free to peruse our site and learn as much about Utah real estate as possible. If you need any additional information, please contact us. We'd love to help in any way possible, even if we're just answering a question or two...
The Salt Lake Valley
Interesting Facts and Tidbits...
Salt Lake City is located at the base of the Wasatch Mountains, a range that stretches approximately 250 miles from southeastern Idaho down into central Utah. The close proximity to the mountains provides residents with outdoor recreational activities year-round. With the recent release of Ski Magazine's ski resort rankings for 2008-2009, Utah backed up its assertion of having the 'best snow on earth' by claiming the top 3 spots with Alta, Snowbird & Powder Mountain, and 6 of the top 10 overall. The mountains also provide endless opportunities for rock climbing, bike riding, hiking, camping, and a cocophony of other activities. Don't forget that Salt Lake was also home to the 2002 Winter Olympics, so many of the old venues are available for use.
As for the city itself, Salt Lake is home to the Utah Jazz (NBA), Real Salt Lake (MLS), the Utah Blaze (AFL), the Salt Lake Bees (MLB AAA baseball team for the Anaheim Angels), and the Miller Motorsports Park (a world-class raceway ranking among the best in the US). It is also home to the headquarters of the LDS Church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) and the easily recognizable Salt Lake Temple. Whether you love the outdoors, or just love to hang around town, Salt Lake has more than enough to offer.
